| EScummVM steht für Epoc SCUMM Virtual Machine, wobei SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) ein Format ist, in dem klassische Point-and-Klick Abenteuer geschrieben wurden.
SCUMM wird unter anderem verwendet von AdventureSoft (Simon the Sorcerer 1, Simon the Sorcerer 2); Coktel Vision (Gobliiins); LucasArts (Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max); Revolution (Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1, Broken Sword 2); Westwood Studios (The Legend of Kyrandia) und Wyrmkeep (Inherit the Earth) EScumm ist nur das Programm, um die Spiele laufen zu lassen und enthält keine Spiele. |
